Some art I made when I was a kid:

Gene by creightonwrites

I made this ๐Ÿ‘† when I was 17. You can see the nature of perfectionism in the line above his right shoulder. Friend of a father, father of friend.

This one ๐Ÿ‘‡ (I was 22 I think) was a wedding gift for friends. It was wonderful painting this, as I love chalk pastels.

The Great White Mother by creightonwrites

I never used tracing paper to make art after 2nd or 3rd grade. Now I'm ray tracing with a camera. Everybody has a different path.

To leave a picture untouched is something I'm new to. To have a camera is in some way like having a thousand sheets of tracing paper, and each one is different, each one is unique, the world is ready to receive its impression and you are there to offer praise through tuning the proper picture to the proper style, turning the proper sheet to the proper page. Will your tracing be flowing or accurate? (Precise.) Will it be stipling or chalk? What I do is not art. It is the practice of choosing the medium which best fits the expression. Of learning tools which facilitate the demands of the world when creating new frost. water, air, light, grass and rocks. A man with a camera is simply a witness, yet he breathes too. He takes in light. He plays the grounds. He knows the names. He slips the rocks. Nomenclature, nomensummate: to live up to one's name. Taxonomical or otherwise. Mine is the crane, yours is the bear.

It's all the way down. Turtles got to eat.
